Nice small daily gains.......... Not the type of big movement on big volume that attracts day traders and foreign account shorters. This is good and minimizes volatility. With more volatility and big moves that increases the likelihood of large gaps. If there is a gap tomorrow, it will be a small one. Probably in the range of a 1/16 of a point. Personally I would rather see this incrimentalism rather than big runs. The big runs will attract the bashers based on volume and price signals. The bashers like language that can be misconstrued as hype, so in my opinion it is better to refrain from making price projections even just for fun. With the conjunction of forthcoming events focused around the Version 3.0 release and the IBE EXPO, in my opinion there will be an abundance of news that generates and sustains momentum for the stock price so that any real or misconstrued hype won't be necessary. However, with any "announcement" ie news that functions as an excuse for a 20 to 30 percent run, there will most likely be a subsequent gap the next day of another 15 to 20 percent which will be followed by a sell off due to the in and outs of daytraders and shorters who could care less about PNL's bigger story. Anyway...these are just my observations based on the many ups and downs of PNL..... Make of them what you will....... Regarding another issue, something I've been reading about alluding to SD. If SD has had a change of opinion, I would be glad to read this. Though I disagree with SD's opinion of PNL, I believe the SD does try to do a valuable service. Many of SD's admonitions are worth paying attention to as are many of the advisories about newsletters and links to SEC info that the SD provides. In the recent past, I have been on the phone both with Kevin Litchman ("the detective") and Lynn, the writer of the article on PNL. I sent Lynn the 15s211 and emailed her my field report and other salient information in order to make SD better understand PNL's business model and what PNL is trying to achieve. In the long run what SD does or doesn't say about PNL will really make no difference. However, to me if SD does change their tune about SD, this will be significant because SD has never done this before on a "stinky stock". Besides to me and IMO, SD will ultimately have to change their tune out of necessity... First because PNL will be successful in achieving and building upon its business goals and model. Second, to indemnify themselves (SD) against any action that can be misconstrued as libelous. Remember, however that SD and even C & D weren't entirely incorrect at the time of the writing about the market capitalization and valuation of the stock last spring. However, neither report and assessment made a concerted effort to either understand the alliances made or what, for that matter, PNL was and NOW is achieving. Sincerely, z (spelling not checked)
