Where is all this volume coming from? Heavy short covering?

With 8 million shares traded today this stock will attract a lot of attention from people who check the VSE closing market report. It has had a sell off at the close of the market in the previous two trading days but still managed to open this morning at yesterdays high. Today's trading accounted for a volume equivalent to half the stock. Many of the trades were probably flips and the average share price today was .31. Profits were likely taken today from many who have bought in the previous 5 days trading of 10.5 mil shares at an average price of .19. I am not a technical trader but I am thinking that todays trading would have removed some resistance to move higher. The buying at the end of the day to me signifies that many are thinking the same way and the support levels established over the last 6 trading days indicate that this is not a pump and dump.

Computer/internet stocks that are under $1 are getting lots attention from spec money right now. Take a look at NGQ-V chart. That stock was trading as low as .04. It has moved from .19 to 1.00 in 3 days 6 mil traded out of 13 mil o/s. SCS-V from .20 to .53 (closed at .40 today) with 6 mil traded over 3 days (14 mil o/s).

IPZ has now traded a total of 19 mil shares over 6 days. For this kind of sustained buying the market is speaking.

Those are my thoughts - I am a trader so I will be unloading the minute I think this stock has topped out.
