In addition to the longstanding relationships with AOL and Sun Microsystems, CYCH has had a long relationship with Netscape. Here's the most recent announcement:

RESTON, VIRGINIA. November 16, 1998 - CyberCash, Inc. (Nasdaq:CYCH), a world leader in e-commerce payment technologies and services, said today its credit and check payment services will be integrated in Netscape's BillerXpert Internet bill presentment and payment application.

"CyberCash has the most reliable and efficient bill payment system on the market today supporting all three forms of payment, cash, credit and check," said Richard Crone, CyberCash vice president and general manager. "It is a very natural development for CyberCash to be involved with a company like Netscape to make bill presentment and payment widely available to billers on the Internet."

Last week, Netscape (Nasdaq:NSCP) announced Netscape BillerXpert 1.0, a new Internet bill presentment and payment application that enables companies to strengthen customer relationships and build new revenue streams. CyberCash's PayNow Secure Electronic Check Service®, PayNow™, and its credit card service will be included as a payment option in Netscape BillerXpert. By using BillerXpert, billers will be able to offer their preferred customers the ability to view and pay bills online by check or by credit card.

"BillerXpert enables billers to turn billing into a competitive advantage, strengthen customer relationships and build new revenue streams through customer self-service and one-to-one marketing," said Ben Horowitz, vice president of customer relationship applications at Netscape Communications Corporation. "Using CyberCash, billers will be able to securely process both credit card and check payments over the Internet."

CyberCash makes it possible for billers to accept both credit card and check payments in one electronic cash register. The service manages all aspects of the payment process including the linking of customer accounts to what has been presented, the sending of settlement requests to banks and the posting of payments directly to the biller's accounts receivable system. In addition, CyberCash provides connectivity to banks and to processors and offers easy integration into NetscapeÕs innovative BillerXpert application.

"Together Netscape and CyberCash will allow billers to control the payment process from end-to-end in order to maximize the availability of funds and allow the cross-selling of products and services to their customers. This is just one more example of the kind of innovation that is going to drive electronic commerce on the Internet," Crone said.
