Zdnet (ZDZ) prices tonight and trades tommorow, expected to be a moonshot, could be consider somewhat, and only somewhat, in the same game as Marketwatch, although advertisers I am sure, would like the Marketwatch user demographic better to sell to. But ZD should be good too.

Since the IPO will take hold in the afternoon trading (usually) the stock could climb and continue even after the IPO. My understanding it that ZD gets to keep most of the spin-off.

I certainly don't know how to "time" one of these.

Roger, the IPO was repriced today ($18-19 I thin). I am hearing trading thursday, possibly tomorrow. I'm expecting my customary 100 shares of ZDZ and will probably short ZD tomorrow or thurday at the latest.

roger, I haven't really thought about ZD until today. I don't fool with listed stocks very much.
