i fully agree with the relative undervaluation argument with regards to ptvl. recently, paine webber analyst james preissler downgraded the stock on the grounds that he was worried by the departure of their cfo (he was replaced the day before the downgrade),while leaving his revenue & earnings estimates unchanged.i think Preissler just wanted to see his name in print somewhere.anyway, the stock tanked giving us true believers a chance to pick it up on the cheap (the chart, which looked quite constructive before the downgrade, looks awful now, though). one fact remains beyond doubt: ptvl is the number one online travel provider. to buy pcln with their shaky business model at these prices is plain crazy. although money managers by and large regard ptvl as a potential takeover target at best, i think they could very well successfully go it alone.travel is one of the fastest-growing e-commerce applications and ptvl is the premier company in this space.their steadily increasing ad revenues and substantial cash hoard plus their link to AOL and others suggest to me they will be a winner. the market will catch on to this, sooner or later.

greetings
