Leave it to Tara to supply the badly needed estrogen. Thank you, Nice Lady. :-} I would like to post for all who are interested the following excerpt of a private message I received today from Mark Stryker, president of CyBerBroker, concerning improvements in Island order routing expected to be completed in about a week or so:"We are going to implement the "Subscriber Only" orders, which not only allow you to hit orders on the Island book that are beyond the LII inside quote - they also allow you to POST orders to the book that would cross or lock the LII inside. The catch is that these orders are NOT at all displayed to the outside world (i.e. the LII display). The idea is that if an order does come in to match the best displayed price (i.e. from SelectNet) or match against you from the Island book itself, that you have the opportunity to be first in line for execution. The comments we have heard so far are things like, "Yeah, it's nice," or "It helps." I truly, at this stage, do not know how useful you and others will find the facility. My fondest hope would be that it would make a big difference for you. When we implement this I hope you will let me know what you think." I think these remarks demonstrate a high degree of honesty and compassion from Mark as well as a strong desire to work hard on behalf of trader-clients. It is extremely rare to find a CEO who is so responsive to the needs and desires of customers. I hope everyone appreciates what value we have in being able to get answers AND results from the head of the company. This is one of the biggest reasons why I trade with CyBerBroker. Sure, there are other brokers with nice and helpful staffs. But, as Tara said so eloquently, "Sure I guess I could get upset and dump Cyber for a different trading platform, but then I would just have to deal with different boundaries. At least I know that Cyber has a vested interest in correcting things, and that they have done the things they said they would in the past." CyBerTrader is a great platform and Mark Stryker and his staff are excellent in every sense of the word. I have seen steady improvements over the past year, and I'm not about to give it all up now. It is unfortunate that JDTrader is so impatient and deprives himself of trading with the best. He is the loser. Bill
