I post my thoughts pretty much as they come to me so others can use their own methods for initiating or passing on a position. As for trading the internet stocks, my timing has been far from optimal ... often after I take a position the dang stock tanks 5-15 points from my entry due to the sheer volatility of the sector. This has happened to me on cmgi, ebay, cnet, nsol, exds, yhoo, athm, inkt .... you name it. Whether it becomes a winning or losing trade depends how one handles the trade.

Sue, appearances to others are academic. Your portfolio balance and state of mind tells you all you need to know. Take care.

Since your PM is turned off, I am going to have to smooch you in public.

Dear Sue,

If you want to explain yourself,
that is your prerogative

But you owe no one any explanation
for what you do.

Many have said this before,
"trade what is comfortable for you"

You, Sue, trade in accordance with
your plan, that you share it here
allows others to learn, both good
and bad.

I see mostly good.

The biggest lesson for others to
learn from today and what you posted
is very simple - after the minus sign,
we did not see anything large, the losses
were small and inconsequential in the
grand scheme of things.

Do what is comfortable for you, Sue,
and don't worry about what anyone
else says. You are an asset to this
thread, and a genuine contributor.

With the utmost respect,

David

Sue's post # 11812

Message 8614720

Anyone new to trading, and anyone who thinks are pretty good at it, need to print out her post and stick it somewhere you can see it.

Those are valuable rules and tenets to follow for anyone.

Thanks Sue.
