Dick, You can find out more about G.723.1 at this URL. I am sure that Mr. Bruce has this information if his product is using this algorithm. itu.int I suspect that he meant 6.4kbps rather than 64kbps, though the spec calls for 5.3kbps and 6.3kbps. JXM

Dick, On the overhead, I think that he is probably referring to the IP headers. Can you find out what the overhead is when you use FunPhone? Thanks, JXM
