BIg BULL:

I agree that the rest of the world is doing better. But I view this is bearish for the US stock market except for certain sectors like oil and big exporters.. The US bull would have ended long ago, if not for the Asian and Latin American meltdowns which kept inflation and interest rates low longer than almost anybody thought possible. As the latest BUSINESS WEEK pointed out -- "the rest of the world's pain is America's gain."

As economic activity improves abroad inflation and interest rates will pick up here in America and the dollar will get hit. Bond yields will keep climbing and the Fed will tighten later this year.

I am not saying the market has topped out yet, although I believe a topping process is underway.. But I expect the overall market to be much lower by fall than it is today.
