bw, just as an aside, at various times in the past, the present CEOs of two of the companies you mentioned actually were upwardly mobile execs at AT&T. " Imagine 30 months ago you were an upwardly mobile executive at AT&T. There is no such company as Qwest or Level3 or Global Crossing..." QWST has Nacchio, and GBLX Annunziata. If you'd have mentioned Teligent as a fourth, then Mandl would have made it three out of four. Does anyone here think that these gentlemen are preparing for a class reunion anytime soon? Nunz has already done this once in the past, when he returned to T after his first excursion, with Teleport (TCGI) and its newly acquired CerfNET, ACC and a wireless company, all neatly tucked under his arm. hmm...
