Hi wily, how are you doing?

I'm using an ISP, Mindspring whenI'm home, here on vacation in Hilton head it's the local dial-up run by the local phone company. Everything went fine yesterday, and the glitch suddenly came up this p.m. when I tried to close a bad trade in YHOO. It was a very expensive 5 minutes, if you take a look at how YHOO sank at the end of the day. I finally put in an ARCA market order.

The problem is totally random. It will hit for a day or two, then run smoothly for months. A clue is that the cursor will not change the price. For example, if I click on the bid price - say 39 1/2 - and try to raise it to 39 5/8, one click on the arrow will scroll the price directly to 40, and it will stick there.

I have tried to discuss this with MBT, but have run into a "we don't recognize the problem" blank wall. I didn't try today because of the response the last time.

As I think you know, I'm not one of the malcontents who think their broker is a pack of thieves. MBT is as good an organization as there is. Sometimes however the system lets them, and more important, their customers, down.

Best

Tom
