No I don't feel their silence is manipulative. As I asked, what is it you would like them to say? What is it that you feel they are manipulating you to do?

Not in the least. The tender offer is very clear. If you are big enough to own individual stocks, particularly Internet stocks, than you should be able to understand (and ignore) the offer, which is quite clear. Anybody who can't should stick to mutual funds.
