Latest Goldcorp update from Red Lake property. This is extremely good news for CYP prospect regarding Durham-McEwen property. Property drill as we speak.itlcapital.com Regards. Marek * Goldcorp announced uncut assay results from its ongoing exploration program at its Red Lake Mine in northern Ontario. A total of 63 new holes have been drilled and the results assayed since the last exploration update in December 1998. Some 78% of these holes were drilled in the High Grade Zone in order to upgrade the quality and quantity of the resources and reserves. * Assay values continue to highlight the consistent and exceptional nature of this deposit. For example, of the 49 holes drilled in and around the High Grade Zone, 36 holes produced 74 significant intersections with an average, uncut grade of 4.80 oz./t or 164.6 g/t over an average width of 7.0 ft or 2.16 m. This average value is 80% higher than the 2.68 oz./t uncut reserve grade of the High Grade Zone. * The balance of the holes were drilled in three other areas of the mine, referred to as the Upper Levels, E and F Zones, and Deep Extension. While encouraging results were encountered in each area the most significant occurred in the Upper Levels. There, two narrow quartz carbonate structures with visible gold were intersected in the hanging wall of the main sulphide zone. When these intersections are aligned with earlier drill results, two parallel structures with a vertical length of 1,200 ft became apparent. It is intriguing to note that these two structures appear to be located in the same setting and relative location as the High Grade Zone but positioned 1,000 ft above it. This area has now become a high priority exploration target.
