Just recieved PC Computing magazine today, this is taken from page 12 and is sourced back to Forrester Research:

Travellers are turning to the Web in ever increasing numbers to plan their trips. While revenues for leisure-travel arrangements made via the Internet added up to over $3 billion last year, by 2003 online bookings are expected to increase almost tenfold to $29.5 billion - or 12 percent of all leisure travel arrangements. Airlines and hotels will account for $21 billion of that figure, with tour packages, car rentals, and cruises making up the rest.
