Now Now Steve. For a trader, those are all legitimate questions. He's not trying to scare anyone. He's just voicing his opinion in an open forum. If you're secure in your vision (ST AND LT) for CMGI, that's fine. Maybe you're the rock, but everyone gets smarter when they can constructively listen and learn from all sides.

I voiced similar opionions about CMGI after the DW and BD had open verbal warfare. I think CMGI (I sold my lot in the 170's a few weeks ago, so I have no position right now, but am looking to enter in the 150-165 range, if possible) has a little work to do to still fix that situation, among others.

As for the stock price.......I must admit that CMGI has pretty good support in the 160 to 180 range, so it might not get there....!!<g>

Regards,

Steve

hi 49er steve,

no, i am not short cmgi. and i wasn't trying to scare anyone off. if you read my post carefully you will note that i admit not only to cmgi's management's vision, but also point out that their past successes (lycos, geocities) have produced awesome returns.
all i'm saying is that their current share price makes me uneasy, as it will only be justified if the most optimistic assumptions on the future returns of their investments are borne out.
and you can't fault me for being skeptical on that issue.
btw, the chart does look good and as you say, the imminence of the split may yet produce another run to new highs. it is the fundamentals that i'm a bit concerned about here.

greetings,

blasnik
