mineman,
I've seen my share of everything nasty you mention here, and for the record, I do not trust FM a bit either and would not take their advice at all in this area. My comments were regarding to the negative inclination and connotation of your posts, I think you have just jumped the gun without a detailed analysis, there is no one that good that can make all that tonnage analysis in the back of an envelope while watching the ticker at the same time. Sorry, but you have not convinced me that you are not shorting the stock, and therefore, I think your comments (although logical at times) are still one sided.
If you want to speculate on dishonest brokerage houses, then let me give an scenario, what if (now notice the big IF before I get the lawyers in my back), FM knew that NWI was still drilling away from the main target area, then they shorted at 3+, now they are covering because NWI will get into the sweet stuff and they run the stock back to where should've been in the first place?....anyone that would contribute to that end would be playing that scenario, so what I am saying is that there may be more than just Geology involved here, but the need to ensure that a hefty investment of 10million dollars is properly covered before the curtains close......now how about that for a crooked theory???? eh???
