Lakers, Well Lakers, here's a PR response from the Wall Street Research letter, 3/30/1999, P.M. We all know to not pay any attention to "tout" sheets, right?<g> But, this sort of PR in rapid succession usually motivates investors to buy a stock. It's probably even mostly accurate! ------------------------ Stock Alert Subscribers 4% STOCK DIVIDEND FOR USXP! Be sure to read today's very positive news release at: biz.yahoo.com This 4% stock dividend will be paid to shareholders of record as of the close of business on April 30, 1999. Mr. Richard Altomare, President and CEO stated "...we are now well positioned to experience a period of rapidly expanding revenues and increasing profitability." Universal Express (OTC BB: USXP) continues to show great strength! The Company's stock closed today at 85 cents, up 2 cents (2.41%) on volume of 188,900 and there are only 3.2 million shares outstanding. USXP expects revenues this year to be in the area of $17 million with net income around $1.4 million, which would equate to earnings per share (EPS) in excess of 40 cents. Applying a reasonable "PE" multiple of 15x we arrive at a near term (less than 12 months) price target of $6.00 per share. We continue to recommend purchase at these levels for near, intermediate, and long term holders. We also appreciate companies that "give back" or reward shareholders (dividends) while they are waiting for future appreciation. We believe there is a significant short position in USXP and a "short squeeze" may be starting shortly! This Company has approximately 4,000 shareholders so there is a wide distribution base, which is very positive.
