<MSFT is one of the few fundamentally driven tech companies in this liquidity driven market.>

Sorry... would you please elaborate for me.

Thanx
Phil

vendit i read about 10 business magazines / newspapers a week.
all of them have a page that lists the companies mentioned
and the page(s) they appear on. msft ALWAYS tops the list
for number of mentions. AOL is usually up there, along
with LU. msft is normally twice the next company.

most of the news is "good" news, mention of a specific
product or product introduction. a few articles relate
to the trial but even here the articles are increasingly
positive.

you mention news and liquidity as driving certain stocks.
based on what i read and the investors i talk with, there is
a ton of $s heading into net stocks (big names like AOL
yhoo, amzn, ivil). the influx will come from normal joe's
and joanne's who are just figuring out that the net
is a big part of the future.

IF this is true, aol is in for a great ride. aol wil
imho be the first stop for a lot of these $s.
