Hi Sili,

Heres a summary from www.nasdaqtrader.com on the markets that are covered by NASDAQ. I actually work for a market data vendor...altho have kept that rather low key. I see where i mistook OTC for Smallcap...sorry

Unique Market Center Identifier - Vendors must clearly differentiate among the following market centers: Nasdaq National Market®, Nasdaq SmallCap MarketSM, OTC Bulletin Board®, and other over-the-counter equity. It is important to note that the listing and quotation requirements may vary by market center. Since most of these securities are identified by 4- to 5-character symbol, it is imperative for vendors to show a market center identifier to help investors and traders to distinguish between the security classes. This display requirement pertains to both delayed and real-time quotation vendors. At a minimum, vendors must display the market center on any individual issue displays (whether quick or full quotations). Nasdaq® strongly recommends that vendors display the market center on portfolio and market minder screens as well.

Cheers
Carole
