Tomorrow should be interesting.

I wonder if anyone getting his information from Dow Jones, instead of from the original Ligand press release, will be willing to pay extra for his shares tomorrow
-- based on that nice frosting DJ tacked onto their version of the release.

Talk about misinformation! When DJ does it, they don't mess around ...

Dow Jones Newswires -- March 30, 1999 Ligand, Spanish Firm In 10-Yr Oncology Pdts Supply Pact>LGND

... Ligand, which had 1998 sales of $1.26 billion ...

I wonder if DJ will issue a re-corrected press release tomorrow.

(I wonder where DJ came up with that particular $1.26B figure.
Rezulin's been in the news a lot lately, and has sold more than $1B so far.
I'll bet that's the amount of sales revenue that's come in from Rezulin.)
