LT: A friend of mine is a financial advisor at a major Canadian bank. I was passed several weeks worth of the pap sent out to the financial advisors to be used in maintaining the sheep in the pen. I can honestly say that I was angry when I had finished reading it. It was pure drivel. Not a darned word about actual events or trends in the global economy, nor anything about the state of any economic sectors, or even comments about particular companies. Just "You're in it for the long haul", and "Stocks always go up" nonsense. As I noted on the MB thread, today's "investors" will shortly learn about a new paradigm,....that old age and poverty make for one heck of a dismal life style. Best, Earlie
