Look at the market valuation of Microsoft at this moment. Probably not 10 times (unfortunately though I can certainly hope for more) but still a good return. My primary concern is that there will be so much data storage capacity that every time I fart it will be detected, recorded and stored on some EMC server. But at least the money will be there.

Yes. why wouldn't it be possible. AMZN, which loses money on every item sold, has a market cap of $150 billion, with a B, today. If that is the "value" of amazon, then why wouldn't EMC, which earns lots of money in an expanding field, be worth in ten years a little more than three times what amazon is worth today?

If the company continues to perform, then it will.
