Tech....In the Northwest, where I live, there is a small chain of very good gourmet hamburger houses...There is no doubt they serve a very tasty hamburger...

Also, in the Northwest, and all over the United States, and all around the World (in many places anyway)there is another chain of burger houses called McDonalds...They have a good hamburger, but not one that would be considered "gourmet", right?

Which company would you rather own the same amount of dollar value in their stock, and hold it over the next 5-10 years?....I would rather own McDonalds.....Why? Because McDonalds is better advertised, capitalized, recognized and promoted to the "masses"-everyday folk eat there..Businessmen eat lunch at the gourmet place, they bring the kids to McDonalds.

Being an investor doesn't mean you have to find the "to-end-all" in one company...AOL is VERY GOOD at what it does, just as McDonalds is very good at what it does.

Regards, George
