Wily, I'm with you on that one. As you know, I'm with another broker, but I feel the entire infrastructure could use some substantial improvement before committing large sums of cash to countless short-term daytrading positions. I hate the possibility of being in a position and not being able to get out in an instant when it's necessary. Most of my trades now are over periods of a few days to even a few weeks. When I need to get out, I can call in the order if I have to. Very rarely do I now take a position for less than a few hours. Just too much risk involved, too many things to go wrong. I have enough problems. On another note, I seem to recall some people discussing Quicken here recently, which I use myself and like. However, I have one issue with it that perhaps someone here can help me with. Whenever I have Quicken opened during the day and connect to the internet with it to do online banking, after I log off, at some point after that Quicken automatically closes my internet connection, which is upsetting to say the least. It even asks me if I want it to close my internet connection, and I say "no." But, later, it does it anyway. In the setup, under Edit/Options/Internet Connection, I have selected to "Stay Connected to Internet" after updating Quicken Data. Also, I have selected "When connected, Prompt me to close my connection after 120 minutes. It requires an entry here between 5 - 120 minutes. Can't seem to leave the box empty. Since this thread seems to have more good info than most software customer service departments, I thought I might try here first before wasting my time trying to contact Quicken. Thanks, Bill
