j... <<someone of Reaganesque stature>> As much as I detest Bill Clinton, Ronnie was, IMO, another pea from the same pod. I watched personally as Ronnie sent CHPs and Sherriffs from So. Cal. to illegally break up a strike by beating defenseless men and women to the ground in the early 70s in Calif. He was also a paid FBI informant turning in his own people while President of the SAG. He also stole 8 mil. from my Mom's Calif teachers' pension fund, sent more "gestapo" to beat students in Santa Barbara, dragging them out of their apts. at night, handcuffing them in busses(100 in a bus for 50) and then gassing them. Why? To teach them a lesson that he was running the show. It didn't matter that the students he rounded up were innocent of any wrongdoing. The guy was a Hitler wannabe. He cared nothing for the rule of law.
