Use Internet to Deliver Bills, Going Online With 10 Billion Bills
by 2003

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 31, 1999--According to the research firm of Killen &
Associates, UK and European companies, including Barclays, Scottish Power, Telia (Sweden), Deutsche
Telecom and others, will use the Internet to deliver 40% of their bills and statements within 5 years. By
doing so, consumers will be able to log on to the Internet to view and pay their bills.

Michael Killen, president of the research company and Silicon Valley TV talk-show host said, ''The companies that are first to issue bills over
the Internet will gain a significant competitive advantage, reduce costs, and increase revenue from the Internet customers.'' The research firm
has studied more than 50 companies around the world on how they are racing to apply electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP)
