From a newsletter. Looks like everyone jumping in.

To give you a quick update about some of our featured companies, 800 Travel
Systems (NASDAQ: IFLY) has announced that they will launch an auction
system for travel reservations similar to Priceline.com on their web site.
In addition, the company will sell computer and entertainment equipment on
their site. Although this is quite odd in our opinion, the more revenue
the merrier! Read the news at

>>And even if a company attracts its initial capital requirements in Canada, a listing on the Nasdaq market appears to be the dream of technology company executives and investors.

Take, for example, online auctioneer Bid.Com International Inc. (BII/TSE) saying it was seeking a Nasdaq listing. Before the announcement, the stock was stuck in the $6 to $8 trading range, but investors have since bid the stock to a high of $17.60, solely on the hope that the firm will soon trade in the same arena as its peers.<<

Canadian tech companies can do more to enhance their image
Deloitte launches fast50

Ian Karleff
Financial Post

Canadian technology companies should be spending more time tooting their own horns to get the stock valuations and respect they deserve, says Deloitte & Touche.

This is the motivation for the accounting and consulting services firm's launch yesterday of the Canadian Technology Fast 50.

"Canadian technology companies are challenged by their inability to get attention from the investing public," said Doug McDonald, Deloitte's co-head of corporate finance.
