Pacific Medical Group Distributor Receives
Registration with Defense Logistics Agency
CARSON CITY, Nev.--(BW HealthWire)--March 31, 1999--Pacific Medical Group Inc.,
(OTC BB:PMGI - news) announced today that KNR Associates, a distributor for Pacific
Medical Group has received full registration with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) System.
KNR's distribution focus with the (CCR) system is with the Military QuickShower(TM) and FireFighter QuickShower(TM)
bathing systems. The Department of Defense is the first government agency to implement a CCR process across all buying and
paying activities and is conducting a large scale effort to populate a database with valid commercial trading partner information.
The Defense Logistics Services is responsible for interfacing with commercial trading partners to assist in populating this
database. The CCR database is a fundamental piece of the Department of Defense's strategy in support of the President's
Executive memorandum, entitled ''Streamlining Procurement through Electronic Commerce,'' dated Oct. 13, 1994.
Pacific Medical Group, which recently received the first receipt of proceeds from a recently established twelve month
non-government contract is on schedule to realize earnings on an annual basis of over ($.11) eleven cents per share. ''We
strongly believe we are an undervalued company on Wall Street with excellent shareholder value,'' stated Pacific Medical Group
president, Gary Hill.
Over the last six months, PMGI has built an infrastructure that includes Saudi Arabia, Scandinavia, the World Wide Web, and
the U.S.A. ''Our goal is to become the largest disposable bathing product manufacturer and supplier in the world,'' added Hill.
PMGI's main products: GentleWash(TM) and QuickShower(TM) are designed for use in hospitals, nursing homes, camping,
hunting, military, feminine hygiene and disaster relief conditions.
GentleWash(TM) is a premium quality disposable bathing product system that cleans the skin, prevents cross-contamination of
infectious bacteria and provides nutrients for new skin to develop.
Traditionally, hospital baths cost anywhere between $9 and $11. GentleWash(TM) sells for about $2.30 a package, which is
one complete bath. Additionally, it takes about 30-45 minutes for a caregiver to give a traditional bed bath. A GentleWash(TM)
bath takes about 6-10 minutes.
Other recent PMGI news highlights include:
-- Became an Amazon.com (Nasdaq:AMZN - news) associate.
-- Launched Disaster Relief QuickShower(TM) and Bikers
QuickShower(TM) bathing systems.
-- The Sweden economic development agency, after an extensive review
of GentleWash(TM) and Military QuickShower(TM) assigning a
project manager to assist in government agency sales.
-- Added the services of Rick Bolton, a Fortune 100 consultant to
help increase sales in the U.S. market.
-- Entered into e-commerce at the Internet shopping mall,
www.iChargeit.com (OTC BB:ICHG - news).
