Hi Wilse-- nice to see your thoughtful post. I DID see it yesterday but didn't get back to it...

I will make some comments, but I hope others can add to it.
I believe the 2 diamonds were discovered in the area currently under exploration, ie, in the same system. You may be right that it was slightly south of where they are drilling. From the Mar/97 NR:
Both diamonds are clear and colourless. Grain #1 is an octahedral crystal which may be a fragment of a larger grain. Grain #1 measures 0.40mm x 0.35 mm x 0.20mm. Grain #2 is a dodecahedral crystal measuring 0.30 x 0.25mm x 0.30mm.
[Their description may aid is assessing their source, don't know].

- You ask the signif.:
I think it bodes extremely well. Contrary to any misinformed comments, it's my experience that Marum is very careful in being upfront and keeping their shareholders accurately informed. -One of the best that I've seen in my 8 or so years playing these puppies. This point that we are now at is the culmination of their 4 years of exploration and analysis in the area.

Anyway, last night's NR had plenty of technical info indicating the right environment for diamonds, I believe, and, that THIS area is the regional source for those diamonds. Your point that diamonds have already been found is very encouraging because it is likely they came from a local ("proximal") source. Next, the massive potential diamond host-rock dimension identified is hard to fathom. - We will learn more as experts (e.g., see Sudhir!) digest and analyze all the technical data released, and as more info is released, but it's a very positive NR, Wilse. It adds to your comments that were made before it was put out! ;)

ITH doing well this a.m.

Regards,
-j
