America Online Inc. (NYSE:AOL - news), the world's leading interactive services company, and Multex.com (NASDAQ:MLTX -

AOL Canada Website.

Multex.com first joined AOL's Personal Finance Channel as an anchor tenant in November, 1998, coinciding with the launch of

individual investor market. Since its launch, the Multex Investor Network's membership has grown to 235,000 members, many of

to brokerage and investment research reports from hundreds of leading full-service firms, we continue to set the standard as a
leading provider of brokerage and investment research to individual and institutional investors.''

''More and more individuals are taking control of their personal investments, and as recent research has shown that is surely due

be available only to financial professionals,'' said Jonathan Sacks, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the AOL service.
''AOL's Personal Finance Channel is the most popular personal finance destination in cyberspace, and great partners like
Multex.com have helped AOL to offer our millions of members the information and resources to make better informed decisions
about their investments and finances.''

The 1998 AOL/Roper Starch CyberStudy found that 89% of those who regularly or occasionally go online find researching stocks
easier than the traditional alternative.
