What the hell is wrong with America?

Americans are increasingly becoming crybabies that fail to
take responsibility for their own behavior. They don't
accept the consequences of their actions. An adult realizes
that many of life's pleasures involve health risks, particularly
when taken in excess quantities(smoking, drinking etc.)

Lawyers, Congressmen, the Media, and the President are always
telling Americans how they're trying to "protect" Medicaire,
Social Security, or how they'll "protect" us and our children
from the "evils" of tobacco.

I personally could do without their protection. To hell with
Medicaire, Social Security, and protecting me and my kids
from tobacco. I'd rather have none of this protection and get
my tax money back. Lawyers and Congressman in particular have
managed to extort money from the citizenry by convincing them
that they're defenseless crybabies who need their protection.
When I look at out tax bills, it's more like extortion.

But many in American society seem to think they're victims.
That after they choose to smoke for 30 years, it's Philip
Morris' fault. The attorneys, Congressmen, and the President
laugh all the way to the bank.
