U.S. Navy reportedly has 2,500 cruise missiles. Air Force is disarming nuclear cruise missiles and rearming with high-explosive or HE/AP payloads. Air Force has requested $50,000,000 to rearm (less than the price of one A-117 stealth bomber). This appears to be a very reasonably priced war, as these things go. U.S. has enough conventionally armed cruise missiles to fight several wars, and enough nuclear tipped cruise missiles to destroy the world.
