Well not a bad first calendar quarter for the Q. The Q was late to the game but it appears the Q has gotten off the porch and is now running with the big dogs. I hope that since we were late, we will have the legs to run at this pace for the next three quarters. (at least)

If that comes about, I'll pull my dog from the race and I may just retire to some far away island.

Hey Maurice....

Got back into QCOM at 121 1/8 today, so I will try to annoy some of you on this thread in the future. I was in at the IPO, and did well, of course.

Before any of you harass me about "you could have got in at 84", I was too busy making money on softy and AOL to move money. The amount of money I expect to make the next few years on QCOM, will make the money I did not make, look like the chicken feed it is.

You will find a lot of comment on this company over on the G&K thread for the last week. IMO, this company, with the suits settled, is now in the same "Gorilla" class as MSFT, CSCO, and INTC.

We know the company can innovate! The question is, can it execute? Can it deliver the quarter to quarter results that the street demands, or is it going to be one of those "up and down" stocks, with bad quarters? As they say in the media business, "Time will tell".
