The new program will be offered to HP resellers in China, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, India, Taiwan,Hong Kong and the Philippines. The Year 2000 training services were rolled out to HP resellers located in the United States and Canada in 1998. This offering expands the Asian penetration of Data Dimensions' Year 2000 solutions beyond its current markets in Guam and Japan

I can remember that 18 months ago DDIM was proudly announcing that they would be selling through Unisys in many of these markets. Unisys was giving away 5 Elvis 2K (whoops, Ardes 2K) CDs with every Unisys machine. Now DDIM doesn't even claim these counties as current markets for their products. I think that gives an indication how much revenue and follow-on business they gained from the Unisys giveway.

If they couldn't crack these markets 18 months ago, I doubt they will do it now, when most companies are finishing their Y2K preparations.
