An ''Anomaly'' in which to buy ?

Anyone have any info on this ?

Have we ever had a 5-8% retracment when Crude prices were firm, or even slightly up - (as we are presently having) and ''not'' had a firm ''bounce'' back recovery and a move up beyond the prior base level ?

My ''gut-memory'' says this is an ''anomaly'' on which to BUY ! I don't have the stats' - does anyone have to ability to post a link to an ''overlay chart'' of Crude Prices and the OSX ? - I know there was one posted here recently ?

osxstocks.com

Ron's link on his OSX/Oil chart above isn't working ? - can anyone else post an overlay of say a 90-180 day chart on Oil prices/OSX ?

-- I'm thinking that there has not been any periods of late where we've had Oil up and/or steady and had a 5-8% retracement continue to lower lows - yet alone, not rebound to a higher high than the original base ?

I chose retirement over marriage. Now I work when I feel like it. Haven't felt like it in quite a while.

Big:

I believe Platter sold his OS holdings.

Some have opined that OS should not be rallying because most of the strength in oil comes from lower supply, not higher demand.

Two comments:

First demand is projected to rebound soon.

Second (correct me if I am wrong), doesn't much OS and drilling activity reflect the need of oil companies to maintain and/or expand their reserve base regardless of current production? And do not oil companies have to maintain a decent level of activity or risk seeing their existing fields degrade and recoverable reserves erode?
