Why I went long NTBK as an intermediate hold. Net.Bank is the largest federally insured bank operating exclusively on the Internet. The company turned profitable in thefirst quarter of 1998. It has experienced exponential revenue growth from $2 million in 1997 to $19 million in 1998. Wall Street analysts expect Net.Bank to earn 50 cents a share in 1999, a 127% gain from 22 cents in 1998. The number of online banking households in the U.S. is projected to triple from 4.5 million in 1997 to 17.1 million in 2002, according to industry reports. I have had up to 1,200 shares of this one for the last 3 months and intermittantly in the last year. Now I have 200 but looking to add to the position on dips.
