Someone on Yahoo board said that Longstocks recommended MTON Metro One Telecommunications: (MTON added 1/1/98 at $8.38).

Interesting play in the hot wireless telecommunications field. They create and staff enhanced directory assistance call centers for wireless providers such as Sprint, AllTel, Air Touch and AT&T. Simply this is an area that many of the non-Baby Bells players in the mobile telecom industry deem to best handled through outsourcing arrangements. MTON's current contracts have them well positioned for exceptional growth over the next few years. And I understand that they are in talks with other national providers. Long story short, they have all the pieces in place to be successful and there may be even more on the horizon.

2/21- Another stellar earnings announcement on 2/16 gave rise to the share price this week. MTON came in at 14 cents per share vs. a mean estimate of 11, which just adds to their already impressive string of beating the quarterly estimate. biz.yahoo.com Lets put two and two together. Metro One is in an exciting industry, wireless, and keeps crushing earnings. This is a recipe for success. If we look out at future estimates we see that MTON should ring up 60 cents this year and $1 in the year 2000. Even with a conservative estimated growth rate of 40%, you can see that the current price of $17 is an outright steal. The only reason why it is an accumulate at this time is due to the continued market unsteadiness which is extra tough on small caps. If that were not the case, then MTON would be an outright buy at this time.
