Is anyone buying DELL here? I bought at 39 11/16 and am now a bit confused. It looked (on the chart) to me that it was a buy at 40 with resistance at 45. Now I am questioning my logic. Any thoughts?

Gottfried.

I use P&F, candlesticks, ma's, upper/lower bands (AIQ, BB or other) and other technical analysis. I wouldn't trade without them, just like I wouldn't be without P&F. Yes, you can do very well with just P&F charts, but this limits your ability to time options trades and bottom fishing more closely. Also, intraday info (OHLC), multiple candle formations, price gaps, are lost with P&F.

Seems right to touch on some of these together, even though this is primarily a P&F thread.

BTW, I am enjoying your ongoing discussion of XOI and oil service stocks with Jim Strauss. One question: how does the XOI relate to the physical price of oil (or how is it calculated)?

Thanks.

Dennis
