Marc,

I just found the site tonight, but was unable to raise the index - I kept getting a message the server was not responding. I did check the list of companies, however.

If my count was right, 34 US stocks and 1 International stock are on the list of 41 stocks I have been maintaining. That means I have 6 stocks on my list that are not included in the Semi index. I will look at it further when I get the chance. It looks like a good site at first glance, and they are apparently planning for further improvements.

I'm glad you enjoy the statistics that are presented. It has been fairly easy the past year because the list of stocks has remained very stable. That is about to change, however, since SFAM and IPEC will be merging as one company this month. That is going to cause me a big problem, since I have to adjust a lot of old data to continue valid comparisons. I haven't thought my way through that one yet - I just may decide to give it up. If it were only the one instance of 2 companies combining, it may not be too bad, but I think there will be other changes in the near future as well. The "database" I have is quite large now, and the longer the data is accumulated, the tougher it is to go back and change the baseline.
