EWEB just keeps growing...the company is building a foundation for internet/e-commerce services in Eastern Europe that is going to look attractive to larger players down the road. Or EWEB will simply become a larger player through their own dynamics. Either way this situation looks good.

Contract with CG Sat - Matel Local Telecom

NEW YORK, April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- EuroWeb International Corp.
(Nasdaq: EWEB) reported through its Chairman, Frank R. Cohen that the
Company had been selected to provide Internet access and data transfer
services to CG Sat - Matel, which is one of the biggest local
concession telecommunications service companies in Hungary. From the
55 telecommunications primary areas of Hungary, 18 owned by public
telephone companies. CG Sat - Matel has 5 zones at its disposal.
Together with concession zones of the earlier contract concluded with
local telecom HTCC, EuroWeb will be able to reach nearly a half million
telephone users and supply them with its Internet service. This is
approximately 13.5% of the total telephone users of Hungary.

The Company expects these services to be initiated by May 1999, and to
contribute significantly to the Company's revenues going forward.

EuroWeb is a major Internet services provider in Hungary and has
agreements to acquire significant Internet service companies in
Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
