Jon.... Very Interesting If you keep going with this you'll begin to establish yourself with Kondratieff - Schumpeter - Batra - Elliot and other cycle theoretical masters. Take a quess....How long to hang around 10,000 before the goose is cooked? <<smile>> Not just cycles, but hard data at each 1000 mark from 3000....Actually you could include any major peak and its duration, then draw an average and apply it to 10,000. But your probably right...there is nothing to be gained with this kind of speculation. Hard to find consistancy numerically and then you have to account for political, economic and Greenspan factors.
