George - thnks for link to stratfor. Your scenario seems more likely than mine of using the troops stationed in macedonia to halt serbs. I just cant get over the thinking involved on NATOs (US) part. They lost the moment Clinton said this is going to be strictly an air campaign. Von Clauswitz stated that military success depends greatly upon decisive and bold action. I have yet to see that characteristic in any of our plans or the implementation thereof. This whole affair reminds me more of the Somalia relief effort. All PR and no substance. Another fools errand. Is Somalia better off today than before? Again I say - either do the job right or don't take it on.
