Bonds are not common stock. The common shareholders will end up with an empty shell I am almost positive.

Bonds are not common stock. The common shareholders stock will be cancled and 4% of the new company....

The total common shares now existing; however many there are, will own a total of 4% of the new company. It may be worth whatever it may be worth.

Since no one knows how much it will be valued at how did you get the $2 figure?
