I confess, I love Margaret Thatcher. I was privileged to participate on a couple of events honoring her, and at one point was right next to her, but she had already been so jostled that I couldn't bring myself to bother her. I almost left out the ridiculous swipes at Dole, Quayle, and Bush, but then decided they contributed to Dowd's credibility in criticizing Clinton. And yes, I think that Liddy is a better man than Bill, and would do a better job at running an operation like this, if it seemed worthwhile in the first place. I miss George a lot, and at least Jimmy wasn't a disgrace.
