Why the forceful conclusion that Hirsch must be a naif, a manipulator, or an outright liar?

Why is it a ding against Hirsch if a last-minute offer shows up?

Why is it so hard to believe?

Why rush to judgement ("He's got one strike in a two strike at-bat") when the facts aren't yet known?

WADR, I genuinely don't understand why you or your contacts would take such umbrage as has been displayed in your recent posts.

A CEO is obligated to the shareholders not to the "Street" nor to parisitic daytraders. Participants in this string who are frothed up about Mr. Hirsch's motives should remember whose bread he butters.
