WIND was certainly involved with the older rev StrongARM chips (SA-110) in so much as StrongARM chips are capable of doing I2O stuff. This was before DEC was bought by intel. Have a look at the following link

I am not quite sure what the story is this time round. Just to be clear, I am not saying the above link means that I2O is involved with the new chips.
