To me the most bizarre and unimaginable scenario would be NN buying FORE...so I'll document that as my guess. What the hell, I've haven't been right yet, so I've got nothing to lose! :-)

Since there is a rumor of a second suitor, how about this?
Coms buys fore and sells palmpilot to nokia to pay for fore?
I know Nokia would work well with the Pilot, why not consolidate the networking end of coms business and be more than a second tier player in the networking and carrier space? It's just a guess, but the teams are being drawn quickly.
