J-R, I like 99.9% of investment bankers have put a value of 0 on the patent. Until BII proves this item can translate into a revenue producing asset it's a pipe dream.

>>Wouldn't the patented Dutch Auction be the perfect way for travel companies and airlines to sell tickets and package deals online? It'll happen..

Jason,

You've hit the mark with that one!

Recall IOL interview, the Dutch Auction was set up especially for "perishable" items – items that lose its value entirely after a certain date. From what I understand, the format is extremely popular on the US site. Travel packages, hotel rooms, airline tickets, as well as event tickets, the No. 1 example of perishable items.

I, for one, would absolutely love to be able to bid on a travel package where the price was declining. As a young single person, I can take a last-minute deal with relative ease. And if I don't get this one, I know there will always be another one on the way. Even better, there isn't a place I'd rather buy a travel package than online, hours before the auction I can do all the research I want on the Internet. Beats sitting in a storefront that always makes me feel like I'm buying insurance or something.

Btw, this patent is way, way more important than what people had expressed yesterday. Any online auction would now have to go through BII to use any Dutch Auction format. This is PLUM for BII.

Very excited going into this long weekend!

Denise.
