I read the article as well and indeed there is interesting technology, but they're only dipping their toe in the water. In order to deliver on the promise of unified networks you need to do more...basing a converged solution on circuit switches is completely orthoginal by definition. HOwever, it's in LU best interest to do so since it will provide the company with the time and revenues to adapt...it's a good strategy .... root new world environments on an old world platform... Either customers will find that they didn't get the lower cost easier to manage solution and the "new world" will fail, or more likely it will merely slow down adoption thereby giving LU the time to catch up and smoothly transition.
