And where do you think there is more price competition, the consumer or business space??? Yup, the consumer space. That's my point. The only reason IBM and CPQ goes with AMD is to get a better price for their chips. Not a very good busness model. In the business space, companies can compete on features other than price....that's why there is no AMD chips there, btw.

Yougang, When did Compaq purchase DEC ?? BTW Yougang, didn't Compaq
try AMD CPU's (K5) before October '97 ?? ... What was the result ?? TIA.
